مِّنَ
ٱلَّذِينَ
هَادُواْ
يُحَرِّفُونَ
ٱلۡكَلِمَ
عَن
مَّوَاضِعِهِۦ
وَيَقُولُونَ
سَمِعۡنَا
وَعَصَيۡنَا
وَٱسۡمَعۡ
غَيۡرَ
مُسۡمَعٖ
وَرَٰعِنَا
لَيَّۢا
بِأَلۡسِنَتِهِمۡ
وَطَعۡنٗا
فِي
ٱلدِّينِۚ
وَلَوۡ
أَنَّهُمۡ
قَالُواْ
سَمِعۡنَا
وَأَطَعۡنَا
وَٱسۡمَعۡ
وَٱنظُرۡنَا
لَكَانَ
خَيۡرٗا
لَّهُمۡ
وَأَقۡوَمَ
وَلَٰكِن
لَّعَنَهُمُ
ٱللَّهُ
بِكُفۡرِهِمۡ
فَلَا
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
إِلَّا
قَلِيلٗا
٤٦
Printre evrei, sunt unii care schimbă sensurile cuvintelor și spun: „Auzim și nu ascultăm!" și „Auzi, dar nu asculta!” Și „Ra'i-na!”1, stâlcindu-și limbile lor și vătămând religia. Și dacă ar fi spus [în schimb]: „Auzim și ne supunem!” și „Dă-ne un răgaz [ca să înțelegem]!”, ar fi fost mai bine pentru ei și mai drept. Dar Allah i-a blestemat din cauza necredinței lor și nu cred decât puțini [dintre ei]2.
