وَلِلَّهِ
مَا
فِي
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
وَمَا
فِي
ٱلۡأَرۡضِۗ
وَلَقَدۡ
وَصَّيۡنَا
ٱلَّذِينَ
أُوتُواْ
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
مِن
قَبۡلِكُمۡ
وَإِيَّاكُمۡ
أَنِ
ٱتَّقُواْ
ٱللَّهَۚ
وَإِن
تَكۡفُرُواْ
فَإِنَّ
لِلَّهِ
مَا
فِي
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
وَمَا
فِي
ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ
وَكَانَ
ٱللَّهُ
غَنِيًّا
حَمِيدٗا
١٣١
ਅਕਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਜੋ ਕੁੱਝ ਹੇ ਹਰ ਚੀਜ਼ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਿਕ ਅੱਲਾਹ ਹੀ ਹੇ। ਅਸੀਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਥੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਕਿਤਾਬਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਸਨ, ਅਤੇ (ਹੇ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨੋ!) ਤੁਹਾ` ਵੀ ਇਹੋ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੇ ਕਿ ਅੱਲਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਦੇ ਰਹੋ, ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੁਕਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਨੋਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖੋ ਕਿ ਜੋ ਵੀ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿਚ ਹੇ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਵੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਹੇ ਉਹ ਸਭ ਅੱਲਾਹ ਦਾ ਹੀ ਹੇ। ਅੱਲਾਹ (ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਮੰਣਨ ਜਾਂ ਨਾ ਮੰਣਨ ਤੋਂ) ਬੇਪਰਵਾਹ ਹੇ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਾ ਉਸੇ ਲਈ ਹੇ।

The Necessity of Taqwa of Allah
Allah states that He is the Owner of the heavens and earth and that He is the Supreme Authority over them. Hence Allah's statement,
وَلَقَدْ وَصَّيْنَا الَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ الْكِتَبَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ وَإِيَّكُمْ
(And verily, We have recommended to the People of the Scripture
