An-Nisa 4:101 واذا ضربتم في الارض فليس عليكم جناح ان تقصروا من الصلاة ان خفتم ان يفتنكم الذين كفروا ان الكافرين كانوا لكم عدوا مبينا ١٠١
وَإِذَا
ضَرَبۡتُمۡ
فِي
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
فَلَيۡسَ
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
جُنَاحٌ
أَن
تَقۡصُرُواْ
مِنَ
ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ
إِنۡ
خِفۡتُمۡ
أَن
يَفۡتِنَكُمُ
ٱلَّذِينَ
كَفَرُوٓاْۚ
إِنَّ
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
كَانُواْ
لَكُمۡ
عَدُوّٗا
مُّبِينٗا
١٠١
When you go forth journeying in the land, there is no blame on you if you shorten the Prayer,1 (especially) if you fear that the unbelievers might cause you harm.2 Surely the unbelievers are your open enemies.

Salat Al-Qasr, Shortening the Prayer
Allah said,
وَإِذَا ضَرَبْتُمْ فِى الاٌّرْضِ
(And when you Darabtum in the land,) meaning if you travel in the land. In another Ayah, Allah said,
أَن سَيَكُونُ مِنكُمْ مَّرْضَى وَءَاخَرُونَ يَضْرِبُونَ فِى الاٌّرْضِ يَبْتَغُونَ مِن فَضْلِ اللَّهِ وَءَاخَرُونَ
