قَالَتۡ
إِنَّ
ٱلۡمُلُوكَ
إِذَا
دَخَلُواْ
قَرۡيَةً
أَفۡسَدُوهَا
وَجَعَلُوٓاْ
أَعِزَّةَ
أَهۡلِهَآ
أَذِلَّةٗۚ
وَكَذَٰلِكَ
يَفۡعَلُونَ
٣٤
Umwamikazi, yavuze abagabisha ku ngaruka mbi zo guhangana na Sulayimani, ati: “Mu vy’ukuri, iyo abami binjiye n’ingabo zabo bakigarurira agacimbiri ku nguvu, baraheza bakagasambura, abubahwa muri ko, bagacika ba nyarucari basuzuguritse; muri bo hakaba abicwa hakaba n’abagirwa imbohe. Iyo rero, ni yo nyifato y’abami kugira batinyike;

Bilqis consults with Her Chiefs
When she read Sulayman's letter to them and consulted with them about this news, she said:
يأَيُّهَا الْمَلأ أَفْتُونِى فِى أَمْرِى مَا كُنتُ قَطِعَةً أَمْراً حَتَّى تَشْهَدُونِ
("O chiefs! Advise me in (this) case of mine. I decide no case till you are present with me."
