إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
كَانَ
أُمَّةٗ
قَانِتٗا
لِّلَّهِ
حَنِيفٗا
وَلَمۡ
يَكُ
مِنَ
ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ

ಖಂಡಿತ ಇಬ್ರಾಹೀಮರು ಅಲ್ಲಾಹನ ಅಜ್ಞಾ ನುವರ್ತಿಯಾದ, ಸನ್ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ (ತಪ್ಪದೆ) ನೆಲೆಗೊಳ್ಳುವ ಒಂದು ಸಮುದಾಯವಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರು ಮುಶ್ರಿಕರ ಕೂಟದವರಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
He selected him, as Allah says :
وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَآ إِبْرَهِيمَ رُشْدَهُ مِن قَبْلُ وَكُنَّا بِهِ عَلِمِينَ
(And before, We indeed gave Ibrahim his integrity, and We were indeed most knowledgeable about him)(21:51). Then Allah says:
