إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
كَانَ
أُمَّةٗ
قَانِتٗا
لِّلَّهِ
حَنِيفٗا
وَلَمۡ
يَكُ
مِنَ
ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ

நிச்சயமாக இப்றாஹீம் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு மிக்க பயந்து நடக்கும் மிகுந்த மார்க்கப்பற்றுடைய வழிகாட்டியாக இருந்தார். மேலும், (இறைவனுக்கு) இணைவைத்து வணங்குபவர்களில் அவர் இருக்கவில்லை.

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
He selected him, as Allah says :
وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَآ إِبْرَهِيمَ رُشْدَهُ مِن قَبْلُ وَكُنَّا بِهِ عَلِمِينَ
