وَضَرَبَ
ٱللَّهُ
مَثَلٗا
قَرۡيَةٗ
كَانَتۡ
ءَامِنَةٗ
مُّطۡمَئِنَّةٗ
يَأۡتِيهَا
رِزۡقُهَا
رَغَدٗا
مِّن
كُلِّ
مَكَانٖ
فَكَفَرَتۡ
بِأَنۡعُمِ
ٱللَّهِ
فَأَذَٰقَهَا
ٱللَّهُ
لِبَاسَ
ٱلۡجُوعِ
وَٱلۡخَوۡفِ
بِمَا
كَانُواْ
يَصۡنَعُونَ
١١٢
Allah dă ca exemplu o cetate: ea a fost în siguranță și în liniște, venind spre ea cele de trebuință pentru viețuire din toate părțile cu prisosință; apoi ea s-a arătat nemulțumitoare față de binefacerile lui Allah și Allah a făcut-o să guste veșmântul foametei și spaimei, [ca pedeapsă] pentru ceea ce au săvârșit [locuitorii ei].
