۞ وَتَرَى
ٱلشَّمۡسَ
إِذَا
طَلَعَت
تَّزَٰوَرُ
عَن
كَهۡفِهِمۡ
ذَاتَ
ٱلۡيَمِينِ
وَإِذَا
غَرَبَت
تَّقۡرِضُهُمۡ
ذَاتَ
ٱلشِّمَالِ
وَهُمۡ
فِي
فَجۡوَةٖ
مِّنۡهُۚ
ذَٰلِكَ
مِنۡ
ءَايَٰتِ
ٱللَّهِۗ
مَن
يَهۡدِ
ٱللَّهُ
فَهُوَ
ٱلۡمُهۡتَدِۖ
وَمَن
يُضۡلِلۡ
فَلَن
تَجِدَ
لَهُۥ
وَلِيّٗا
مُّرۡشِدٗا
١٧
Tu puteai vedea soarele, când răsărea1, cum se îndepărta de la peştera lor2 către dreapta, iar când apunea, trecea departe la stânga lor, în vreme ce ei stăteau într‑un loc întins din ea3. Aceasta este una din minunile lui Allah. Cel pe care îl călăuzeşte Allah este bine călăuzit, iar aceluia pe care El îl duce în rătăcire tu nu‑i vei găsi nici un ocrotitor călăuzitor4.

The Location of the Cave This indicates that the entrance to the cave faced north, because Allah tells us that when the sun was rising, sunlight entered the cave
ذَاتَ الْيَمِينِ
(the right), meaning that the shade decreased towards the right, as Ibn `Abbas, Sa`id bin Jubayr and Qatadah said:
