وَإِذَا
قِيلَ
لَهُمُ
ٱسۡجُدُواْۤ
لِلرَّحۡمَٰنِ
قَالُواْ
وَمَا
ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ
أَنَسۡجُدُ
لِمَا
تَأۡمُرُنَا
وَزَادَهُمۡ
نُفُورٗا ۩
٦٠
“ಪರಮ ದಯಾಳುವಿಗೆ (ಅಲ್ಲಾಹನಿಗೆ) ಸಾಷ್ಟಾಂಗ ಮಾಡಿರಿ” ಎಂದು ಅವರೊಡನೆ ಹೇಳಲಾದರೆ ಅವರು ಕೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ: “ಪರಮ ದಯಾಳು ಎಂದರೇನು?1 ನೀನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುವವನಿಗೆ ನಾವು ಸಾಷ್ಟಾಂಗ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೇ?” ಇದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ದ್ವೇಷವನ್ನು ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿತು.
