Al-Baqarah 2:245 من ذا الذي يقرض الله قرضا حسنا فيضاعفه له اضعافا كثيرة والله يقبض ويبسط واليه ترجعون ٢٤٥
مَّن
ذَا
ٱلَّذِي
يُقۡرِضُ
ٱللَّهَ
قَرۡضًا
حَسَنٗا
فَيُضَٰعِفَهُۥ
لَهُۥٓ
أَضۡعَافٗا
كَثِيرَةٗۚ
وَٱللَّهُ
يَقۡبِضُ
وَيَبۡصُۜطُ
وَإِلَيۡهِ
تُرۡجَعُونَ
٢٤٥
Who of you will lend Allah a goodly loan1 which He will return after multiplying it for him manifold? For Allah has the power both to decrease and increase, and to Him will you be returned.

The Story of the Dead People
Ibn Abu Hatim related that Ibn `Abbas said that these people mentioned herein were the residents of a village called Dawardan. `Ali bin `Asim said that they were from Dawardan, a village several miles away from Wasit (in Iraq).
