Al-A'raaf 7:99 افامنوا مكر الله فلا يامن مكر الله الا القوم الخاسرون ٩٩
أَفَأَمِنُواْ
مَكۡرَ
ٱللَّهِۚ
فَلَا
يَأۡمَنُ
مَكۡرَ
ٱللَّهِ
إِلَّا
ٱلۡقَوۡمُ
ٱلۡخَٰسِرُونَ
٩٩
Then, did they feel secure from the plan of Allāh? But no one feels secure from the plan of Allāh except the losing people.

Allah mentions here the little faith of the people of the towns to whom He sent Messengers. In another instance, Allah said,
