وَلَوۡ
أَنَّ
أَهۡلَ
ٱلۡقُرَىٰٓ
ءَامَنُواْ
وَٱتَّقَوۡاْ
لَفَتَحۡنَا
عَلَيۡهِم
بَرَكَٰتٖ
مِّنَ
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ
وَلَٰكِن
كَذَّبُواْ
فَأَخَذۡنَٰهُم
بِمَا
كَانُواْ
يَكۡسِبُونَ
٩٦
A da su stanovnici sélā i gradova vjerovali i grijeha se klonili, Mi bismo im blagoslove i s neba i iz zemlje slali, ali, oni su poricali, pa smo ih kažnjavali za ono što su zaradili.

Blessings come with Faith, while Kufr brings Torment
Allah mentions here the little faith of the people of the towns to whom He sent Messengers. In another instance, Allah said,
