۞ وَإِذۡ
نَتَقۡنَا
ٱلۡجَبَلَ
فَوۡقَهُمۡ
كَأَنَّهُۥ
ظُلَّةٞ
وَظَنُّوٓاْ
أَنَّهُۥ
وَاقِعُۢ
بِهِمۡ
خُذُواْ
مَآ
ءَاتَيۡنَٰكُم
بِقُوَّةٖ
وَٱذۡكُرُواْ
مَا
فِيهِ
لَعَلَّكُمۡ
تَتَّقُونَ
١٧١
Și [spune] când am ridicat Noi muntele deasupra lor, ca și când ar fi fost un Nor negru și ei și-au închipuit că va cădea peste ei1, [și Allah le-a Spus]: „Țineți cu putere ceea ce v-am dat și aduceți-vă aminte de ceea ce se află înlăuntru! Poate că vă veți teme!”

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
Raising Mount Tur over the Jews, because of Their Rebellion
`Ali bin Abi Talhah reported that Ibn `Abbas commented on the Ayah,
وَإِذ نَتَقْنَا الْجَبَلَ فَوْقَهُمْ
(And (remember) when We Nataqna the mountain over them), "We raised the mountain, as Allah's other statement testifies,
وَرَفَعْنَا فَوْق
