وَسۡـَٔلۡهُمۡ
عَنِ
ٱلۡقَرۡيَةِ
ٱلَّتِي
كَانَتۡ
حَاضِرَةَ
ٱلۡبَحۡرِ
إِذۡ
يَعۡدُونَ
فِي
ٱلسَّبۡتِ
إِذۡ
تَأۡتِيهِمۡ
حِيتَانُهُمۡ
يَوۡمَ
سَبۡتِهِمۡ
شُرَّعٗا
وَيَوۡمَ
لَا
يَسۡبِتُونَ
لَا
تَأۡتِيهِمۡۚ
كَذَٰلِكَ
نَبۡلُوهُم
بِمَا
كَانُواْ
يَفۡسُقُونَ
١٦٣
Întreabă‑i pe ei1 despre cetatea care era aşezată lângă Mare, când ei au călcat Sabatul! Peştii au venit la ei în ziua Sabatului, ieşind la suprafaţă; dar în ziua când nu era Sabat, n‑au venit la ei. Astfel i‑am încercat Noi pentru abaterea lor din drum.

This Ayah explains Allah's statement,
وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْتُمُ الَّذِينَ اعْتَدَواْ مِنكُمْ فِى السَّبْتِ
