وَإِذۡ
قِيلَ
لَهُمُ
ٱسۡكُنُواْ
هَٰذِهِ
ٱلۡقَرۡيَةَ
وَكُلُواْ
مِنۡهَا
حَيۡثُ
شِئۡتُمۡ
وَقُولُواْ
حِطَّةٞ
وَٱدۡخُلُواْ
ٱلۡبَابَ
سُجَّدٗا
نَّغۡفِرۡ
لَكُمۡ
خَطِيٓـَٰٔتِكُمۡۚ
سَنَزِيدُ
ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
١٦١
A kada im je bilo rečeno: "Nastanite se u ovom naselju i jedite odakle hoćete i recite: 'Oprosti!' a na kapiju uđite glava pognutih", oprostit ćemo vam grijehe vaše, a onima koji čine dobra djela dat ćemo i više.

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
مِّنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَبِ أُمَّةٌ قَآئِمَةٌ يَتْلُونَ ءَايَتِ اللَّهِ ءَانَآءَ الَّيْلِ وَهُمْ يَسْجُدُونَ
(A party of the people of the Scripture stand for the right, they recite the verses of Allah during the hours of the night, prostrating themselves in prayer) 3:113,
وَإِنَّ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَبِ لَ
