وَإِذۡ
قِيلَ
لَهُمُ
ٱسۡكُنُواْ
هَٰذِهِ
ٱلۡقَرۡيَةَ
وَكُلُواْ
مِنۡهَا
حَيۡثُ
شِئۡتُمۡ
وَقُولُواْ
حِطَّةٞ
وَٱدۡخُلُواْ
ٱلۡبَابَ
سُجَّدٗا
نَّغۡفِرۡ
لَكُمۡ
خَطِيٓـَٰٔتِكُمۡۚ
سَنَزِيدُ
ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
١٦١
Și [spune, o, Mohammed] când li s-a spus: „Locuiți în această cetate [Ierusalim] și mâncați din ea de oriunde voiți, dar spuneți: „Iertare” și intrați pe poartă, prosternându-vă [cu smerenie]. Noi vom ierta păcatele voastre și le vom dărui și mai mult acelora care fac bine.”

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
مِّنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَبِ أُمَّةٌ قَآئِمَةٌ يَتْلُونَ ءَايَتِ اللَّهِ ءَانَآءَ الَّيْلِ وَهُمْ يَسْجُدُونَ
(A party of the people of the Scripture stand for the right, they recite the verses of Allah during the hours of the night, prostrating themselves in prayer) 3:113,
وَإِنَّ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَبِ لَ
