وَإِذۡ
زَيَّنَ
لَهُمُ
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ
أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ
وَقَالَ
لَا
غَالِبَ
لَكُمُ
ٱلۡيَوۡمَ
مِنَ
ٱلنَّاسِ
وَإِنِّي
جَارٞ
لَّكُمۡۖ
فَلَمَّا
تَرَآءَتِ
ٱلۡفِئَتَانِ
نَكَصَ
عَلَىٰ
عَقِبَيۡهِ
وَقَالَ
إِنِّي
بَرِيٓءٞ
مِّنكُمۡ
إِنِّيٓ
أَرَىٰ
مَا
لَا
تَرَوۡنَ
إِنِّيٓ
أَخَافُ
ٱللَّهَۚ
وَٱللَّهُ
شَدِيدُ
ٱلۡعِقَابِ
٤٨
Bemeramana! Nimwibuke n’igihe shetani yaryohereza ababangikanyamana icabazanye ku rugamba, ikababwira iti: “Uno musi nta n’umwe abanesha, mu vy’ukuri ndi kumwe na mwe, ndabatabara”. Iyo migwi yompi rero hageze ko ihangana, shetani yagenjeje umugongo irisubirako iti: “Mu vy’ukuri, jewe nditandukanije na mwe; ni ukuri, ndabona ivyo mudashoboye kubona mu bamalayika baje gutera intege abemeramana; jewe mu vy’ukuri ndatinya Imana Allah”. Shetani rero yarabataye mu rudubi hanyuma irabihakana. Burya Imana Allah Irahana Igahasha uwugabitanya, mu gihe atisubiyeko ngo yigaye.

The Idolators leave Makkah, heading for Badr
After Allah commanded the believers to fight in His cause sincerely and to be mindful of Him, He commanded not to imitate the idolators, who went out of their homes
بَطَراً
(boastfully) to suppress the truth,
وَرِئَآءَ النَّاسِ
(and to be seen of men), boastin
