لِّيَسۡـَٔلَ
ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
عَن
صِدۡقِهِمۡۚ
وَأَعَدَّ
لِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
عَذَابًا
أَلِيمٗا
٨
ਤਾਂ ਜੋ (ਅੱਲਾਹ) ਸੱਚੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ (ਪੈਗ਼ੰਬਰ) ਤੋਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ (ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਣ) ਦੀ ਸੱਚਾਈ ਬਾਰੇ (ਕਿਆਮਤ ਦਿਹਾੜੇ) ਪੁੱਛ-ਗਿੱਛ ਕਰੇ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਾਫ਼ਿਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਦੁਖਦਾਈ ਅਜ਼ਾਬ (ਨਰਕ ਦੀ ਅੱਗ ਆਦਿ) ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੈ।
