وَقَالَ
ٱلَّذِينَ
كَفَرُواْ
لِلَّذِينَ
ءَامَنُواْ
لَوۡ
كَانَ
خَيۡرٗا
مَّا
سَبَقُونَآ
إِلَيۡهِۚ
وَإِذۡ
لَمۡ
يَهۡتَدُواْ
بِهِۦ
فَسَيَقُولُونَ
هَٰذَآ
إِفۡكٞ
قَدِيمٞ
١١
Și cei care nu cred spun către cei care cred: „De ar fi fost el bun, nu ne-ar fi luat-o ei înainte cu aceasta!” Și cum nu se vor lăsa călăuziți de el, vor spune ei: „Aceasta este o minciună veche!”

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
The Qur'an is Allah's True Speech and the Position of the Disbelievers and the Muslims towards it
Allah says,
قُلْ
(Say) meaning, `O Muhammad to these idolators who disbelieve in the Qur'an.'
أَرَءَيْتُمْ إِن كَانَ
(Tell me! If it was) meaning, this Qur'an.
مِنْ عِندِ اللَّهِ وَكَفَرْتُمْ بِهِ
(from Allah,
