An-Nisa 4:157 وقولهم انا قتلنا المسيح عيسى ابن مريم رسول الله وما قتلوه وما صلبوه ولاكن شبه لهم وان الذين اختلفوا فيه لفي شك منه ما لهم به من علم الا اتباع الظن وما قتلوه يقينا ١٥٧
وَّقَوْلِهِمْ
اِنَّا
قَتَلْنَا
الْمَسِیْحَ
عِیْسَی
ابْنَ
مَرْیَمَ
رَسُوْلَ
اللّٰهِ ۚ
وَمَا
قَتَلُوْهُ
وَمَا
صَلَبُوْهُ
وَلٰكِنْ
شُبِّهَ
لَهُمْ ؕ
وَاِنَّ
الَّذِیْنَ
اخْتَلَفُوْا
فِیْهِ
لَفِیْ
شَكٍّ
مِّنْهُ ؕ
مَا
لَهُمْ
بِهٖ
مِنْ
عِلْمٍ
اِلَّا
اتِّبَاعَ
الظَّنِّ ۚ
وَمَا
قَتَلُوْهُ
یَقِیْنًا
۟ۙ
and for boasting, “We killed the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, the messenger of Allah.” But they neither killed nor crucified him—it was only made to appear so.1 Even those who argue for this ˹crucifixion˺ are in doubt. They have no knowledge whatsoever—only making assumptions. They certainly did not kill him.

And [for] their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus the son of Mary, the messenger of Allāh." And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain.1

আর ‘আমরা আল্লাহর রসূল মারয়্যাম-পুত্র ঈসা মসীহকে হত্যা করেছি’ তাদের এ উক্তির জন্য (অভিশপ্ত হয়েছিল)। অথচ তারা তাকে হত্যা করেনি এবং ক্রুসবিদ্ধও করেনি,[১] বরং তাদের জন্য (অন্য একজনকে ঈসার) আকৃতি দান করা হয়েছিল।[২] নিঃসন্দেহে যারা তার সম্বন্ধে মতভেদ করেছিল, বস্তুতঃ তারা এ সম্বন্ধে সংশয়যুক্ত ছিল এবং অনুমা
