ٱللَّهُ
يَتَوَفَّى
ٱلۡأَنفُسَ
حِينَ
مَوۡتِهَا
وَٱلَّتِي
لَمۡ
تَمُتۡ
فِي
مَنَامِهَاۖ
فَيُمۡسِكُ
ٱلَّتِي
قَضَىٰ
عَلَيۡهَا
ٱلۡمَوۡتَ
وَيُرۡسِلُ
ٱلۡأُخۡرَىٰٓ
إِلَىٰٓ
أَجَلٖ
مُّسَمًّىۚ
إِنَّ
فِي
ذَٰلِكَ
لَأٓيَٰتٖ
لِّقَوۡمٖ
يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
٤٢
Då [människan] dör tar Gud själen till Sig, men om hon inte skall dö, [tar Han den] då hon sover. Han håller kvar den [själ] vars [bärare] skall dö enligt Hans beslut och Han friger de andra till en [av Honom] fastställd tidpunkt. I detta ligger sannerligen budskap till tänkande människor.

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَبَ
(Verily, We have sent down to you the Book) meaning, the Qur'an.
لِلنَّاسِ بِالْحَق
(for mankind in truth.) means, for all of creation, mankind and Jinn, so that he may warn them therewith.
فَمَنِ اهْتَدَى فَلِنَفْسِهِ
(So, whosoever accepts the guidance, it is only f
