Yá-Sín 36:66 ولو نشاء لطمسنا على اعينهم فاستبقوا الصراط فانى يبصرون ٦٦
وَلَوۡ
نَشَآءُ
لَطَمَسۡنَا
عَلَىٰٓ
أَعۡيُنِهِمۡ
فَٱسۡتَبَقُواْ
ٱلصِّرَٰطَ
فَأَنَّىٰ
يُبۡصِرُونَ
٦٦
And if We willed, We could have obliterated their eyes, and they would race to [find] the path, and how could they see?1
Lee Tafsir
Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
هَذِهِ جَهَنَّمُ الَّتِى كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ
(This is Hell which you were promised!) meaning, `this is what the Messengers warned you about, and you did not believe them.'
اصْلَوْهَا الْيَوْمَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ
