Luqman 31:7 واذا تتلى عليه اياتنا ولى مستكبرا كان لم يسمعها كان في اذنيه وقرا فبشره بعذاب اليم ٧
وَاِذَا
تُتْلٰی
عَلَیْهِ
اٰیٰتُنَا
وَلّٰی
مُسْتَكْبِرًا
كَاَنْ
لَّمْ
یَسْمَعْهَا
كَاَنَّ
فِیْۤ
اُذُنَیْهِ
وَقْرًا ۚ
فَبَشِّرْهُ
بِعَذَابٍ
اَلِیْمٍ
۟
Whenever Our revelations are recited to them, they turn away in arrogance as if they did not hear them, as if there is deafness in their ears. So give them good news ˹O Prophet˺ of a painful punishment.

And when Our verses are recited to him, he turns away arrogantly as if he had not heard them, as if there was in his ears deafness. So give him tidings of a painful punishment.

যখন ওদের নিকট আমার বাক্য আবৃত্তি করা হয়, তখন ওরা দম্ভভরে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়; যেন ওরা তা শুনতে পায়নি; যেন ওদের কান দু’টি বধির।[১] অতএব ওদেরকে মর্মন্তুদ শাস্তির সুসংবাদ দাও।
