فَلَوۡلَا
كَانَتۡ
قَرۡيَةٌ
ءَامَنَتۡ
فَنَفَعَهَآ
إِيمَٰنُهَآ
إِلَّا
قَوۡمَ
يُونُسَ
لَمَّآ
ءَامَنُواْ
كَشَفۡنَا
عَنۡهُمۡ
عَذَابَ
ٱلۡخِزۡيِ
فِي
ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
وَمَتَّعۡنَٰهُمۡ
إِلَىٰ
حِينٖ
٩٨
どうして町（の住民）は（、懲罰を目の当たりにする前に）信仰し、その信仰で自らを益しなかったのか？[1] 但しユーヌス*の民だけは別で、彼らが信仰した時（、懲罰はまさに下ろうとしていたが）、われら*は彼らから現世の生活における屈辱の懲罰を取り除いてやり、暫しの間、彼ら（の余命）を楽しませておいたのである。[2] 1
