وَلَقَدۡ
أَهۡلَكۡنَا
ٱلۡقُرُونَ
مِن
قَبۡلِكُمۡ
لَمَّا
ظَلَمُواْ
وَجَآءَتۡهُمۡ
رُسُلُهُم
بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ
وَمَا
كَانُواْ
لِيُؤۡمِنُواْۚ
كَذَٰلِكَ
نَجۡزِي
ٱلۡقَوۡمَ
ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ

(ಓ ಜನರೇ;) ನಿಮಗಿಂತ ಮುಂಚಿನ ಜನಾಂ ಗಗಳನ್ನು 1 ಅವರು ಅಕ್ರಮವೆಸಗಿದಾಗ ನಾವು ನಾಶ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಅವರ ಸಂದೇಶವಾಹಕರು ಸುವ್ಯಕ್ತ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಂದರು. ಆದರೂ ಅವರು ವಿಶ್ವಾಸವಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ನಾವು ಅಪರಾಧಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವನ್ನು ಇದೇ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇವೆ.
