Life is full of surprises! I never thought that on one fine summer day i will woke up in the morning and start reading Quran! Started with my first surah Al-alaq!!

Imagine, how Hazrat Jibraeel AS came to Prophet Mohammad ﷺ and asked him to READ!

What made Orientalists attest to the preservation of the Quran in it's written form was the fact that they saw consistency across the various manuscripts which date back to the mid 7th century when Uthman RA ordered for the masahif (written copies of the Quran) to be unified. These consistencies exist even in cases where the uninitiated might assume that human intervention would be warranted. For example, in the writing of:

' FIND YOUR HIRA' '
That was the buzz phrase that was viralling in my chatgroups 2 Ramadhans ago. The idea of creating a space to replicate the Cave that the Prophet (SAW) used to seclude himself away not just from society but even from his family. To find solace, to think, to meditate, to pray.
It was only in that quiet seclusion that this first Revelation came to him (SAW).
This Ramadhan, I remind myself of this need again.

Over these past few weeks, my six-year-old daughter has been learning about the first revelation — the moment Angel Jibreel (RA) descended with the words of Allah to our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAWS). Together, we’ve spoken about the verse:

SUBHANALLAH......the very first ayah revealed to our prophet(saw) from our RABB,the Mighty,the Wise....

How powerful might be the very 1st verse???
How much wisdom does the verse have???
Are we obeying the very first command from our LORD,which is to 'READ'.???
Infact,what are we supposed to 'read' during our lifetime???

Why Allah asked Prophet (pbuh), read in the very first revelation?? Whereas he (pbuh) was illiterate???

The purpose of marriage in the quran is written as 'litaskunu ilayha', so you can find peace in each other.
The time when the prophet SAW recieved the first revelation in cave Hira, he was extremely overwhelmed and scared, his heart was pounding, and he was fearful for himself. The experience was too much.
He came home to khadija RA and told her to cover him up, and he expressed his fears to her.
