الحمد لله الذي خلق السماوات والارض وجعل الظلمات والنور ثم الذين كفروا بربهم يعدلون ١
ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَجَعَلَ ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ وَٱلنُّورَ ۖ ثُمَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِرَبِّهِمْ يَعْدِلُونَ ١
اَلۡحَمۡدُ
لِلّٰهِ
الَّذِىۡ
خَلَقَ
السَّمٰوٰتِ
وَالۡاَرۡضَ
وَجَعَلَ
الظُّلُمٰتِ
وَالنُّوۡرَ ؕ
ثُمَّ
الَّذِيۡنَ
كَفَرُوۡا
بِرَبِّهِمۡ
يَعۡدِلُوۡنَ

کل تعریف اور تمام شکر اس اللہ کے لیے ہے جس نے آسمانوں اور زمین کی تخلیق فرمائی اور بنایا اندھیروں اور اجالے کو پھر بھی وہ لوگ جو اپنے رب کا کفر کرتے ہیں اس کے برابر کیے دیتے ہیں (جھوٹے معبودوں کو)

I was reflecting on the use of the word 'hamd', (praise) in the Quran, and I was drawn to how many of the verses that cite 'hamd' describe Allah in relation to the heavens and the earth and Lord of the Worlds. He (SwT) is described as The Creator, Owner, Originator, Lord of the heavens and the earth.
