۞ الله نور السماوات والارض مثل نوره كمشكاة فيها مصباح المصباح في زجاجة الزجاجة كانها كوكب دري يوقد من شجرة مباركة زيتونة لا شرقية ولا غربية يكاد زيتها يضيء ولو لم تمسسه نار نور على نور يهدي الله لنوره من يشاء ويضرب الله الامثال للناس والله بكل شيء عليم ٣٥
۞ ٱللَّهُ نُورُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ مَثَلُ نُورِهِۦ كَمِشْكَوٰةٍۢ فِيهَا مِصْبَاحٌ ۖ ٱلْمِصْبَاحُ فِى زُجَاجَةٍ ۖ ٱلزُّجَاجَةُ كَأَنَّهَا كَوْكَبٌۭ دُرِّىٌّۭ يُوقَدُ مِن شَجَرَةٍۢ مُّبَـٰرَكَةٍۢ زَيْتُونَةٍۢ لَّا شَرْقِيَّةٍۢ وَلَا غَرْبِيَّةٍۢ يَكَادُ زَيْتُهَا يُضِىٓءُ وَلَوْ لَمْ تَمْسَسْهُ نَارٌۭ ۚ نُّورٌ عَلَىٰ نُورٍۢ ۗ يَهْدِى ٱللَّهُ لِنُورِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ ۚ وَيَضْرِبُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْأَمْثَـٰلَ لِلنَّاسِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌۭ ٣٥

كَوۡكَبٌ
دُرِّىٌّ
يُّوۡقَدُ

شَجَرَةٍ
مُّبٰـرَكَةٍ
زَيۡتُوۡنَةٍ
لَّا
شَرۡقِيَّةٍ
وَّلَا
غَرۡبِيَّةٍ ۙ
يَّـكَادُ
زَيۡتُهَا
يُضِىۡٓءُ
وَلَوۡ
لَمۡ
تَمۡسَسۡهُ
نَارٌ ؕ
نُوۡرٌ
عَلٰى
نُوۡرٍ ؕ
يَهۡدِى
اللّٰهُ
لِنُوۡرِهٖ
مَنۡ
يَّشَآءُ ؕ
وَ يَضۡرِبُ
اللّٰهُ
الۡاَمۡثَالَ
لِلنَّاسِؕ
وَاللّٰهُ
بِكُلِّ
شَىۡءٍ
عَلِيۡمٌ ۙ
٣٥
اللہ نور ہے آسمانوں اور زمین کا اس کے نور کی مثال ایسے ہے جیسے ایک طاق اس (طاق) میں ایک روشن چراغ ہے وہ چراغ شیشے (کے فانوس) میں ہے اور وہ شیشہ ایک چمکدار ستارے کی مانند ہے وہ (چراغ) جلایا جاتا ہے زیتون کے ایک مبارک درخت سے جو نہ شرقی ہے اور نہ غربیقریب ہے کہ اس کا روغن (خود بخود) روشن ہوجائے چاہے اسے آگ نے ابھی چھوا بھی نہ ہو روشنی پر روشنی اللہ ہدایت دیتا ہے اپنے نور کی جس کو چاہتا ہے اور اللہ یہ مثالیں بیان کرتا ہے لوگوں (کی راہنمائی) کے لیے جبکہ اللہ تو ہرچیز کا علم رکھنے والا ہے

There is a house in the neighborhood that has a Hindu idol in the front yard. The owner has put a light in front of it so that at night the light will shine on the idol and make it visible. Everything that is worshiped besides Allah needs to be lifted, raised, carried, or lit to be noticed. However, Allah is Allah. That's it. He doesn’t need me, you, or anything else to raise Him.
