وكذالك انزلناه ايات بينات وان الله يهدي من يريد ١٦
وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَنزَلْنَـٰهُ ءَايَـٰتٍۭ بَيِّنَـٰتٍۢ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَهْدِى مَن يُرِيدُ ١٦
وَكَذٰلِكَ
اَنۡزَلۡنٰهُ
اٰيٰتٍۢ
بَيِّنٰتٍۙ
وَّاَنَّ
اللّٰهَ
يَهۡدِىۡ
مَنۡ
يُّرِيۡدُ
١٦
اور اسی طرح ہم نے نازل کیا ہے اس (قرآن) کو روشن نشانیوں کی شکل میں اور یہ کہ اللہ ہدایت دیتا ہے جس کو چاہتا ہے۔
اس کا دوسرا ترجمہ یہ بھی ہے کہ اللہ ہدایت دیتا ہے اس کو جو (ہدایت حاصل کرنا) چاہتا ہے

There a stark change in direction from previous verses speaking of those who are doomed to reminding us of the resting place of those who have iman AND inclined toward/do good deeds (an essential combination). I'm always struck by the love that Allah has for the prophet (SAW) when he defends His beloved messenger so vehmently in verses such as verse 15.

The main purpose of Hajj is to ‘remember Allah’
-10 days of dul-Hijjah, Allah says:
'That they may witness benefits for themselves and mention the name of Allah on known days…..'[hajj:28]

In verse 1, put simply, God did not come to play. Allah sets the scene for very serious warnings.
