نَحْنُ نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ أَحْسَنَ ٱلْقَصَصِ بِمَآ أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْكَ هَـٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ وَإِن كُنتَ مِن قَبْلِهِۦ لَمِنَ ٱلْغَـٰفِلِينَ ٣

اَحۡسَنَ
الۡقَصَصِ
بِمَاۤ
اَوۡحَيۡنَاۤ
اِلَيۡكَ
هٰذَا
الۡقُرۡاٰنَ ۖ
وَاِنۡ
كُنۡتَ
مِنۡ
قَبۡلِهٖ
لَمِنَ
الۡغٰفِلِيۡنَ

(اے نبی !) ہم آپ کو سنانے لگے ہیں بہترین بیان اس قرآن کے ساتھ جو ہم نے آپ کی طرف وحی کیا ہے اور یقیناً آپ اس سے پہلے (اس سے) ناواقف تھے

قرآن نے ہمیں ایک خاص مقصد کے لیے کہانیاں دی ہیں: انسانیت کی رہنمائی کے لیے جس کی انہیں ضرورت ہے۔ انسانیت کو بہلانے کے لیے نہیں۔ یہاں اللہ ہمیں تمام کہانیوں میں سے بہترین کہانیاں سنا رہا ہے، تاکہ ہم اسے اپنی زندگیوں سے جوڑ سکیں اور ان کے ذریعے سکون حاصل کر سکیں
'سورہ یوسف کتنی خوبصورت ہے، یہ دور کے خواب سے شروع ہوتی ہے اور خواب کے حقیقت بننے پر ختم ہوتی ہے'۔

یوسف علیہ السلام کے پاس ہر موقع تھا کہ وہ گناہ میں مبتلا ہو جائیں— تعریف، فتنہ، طاقت — سب کچھ موجود تھا۔ لیکن انہیں جو چیز بچا گئی وہ نہ جسمانی طاقت تھی نہ چالاکی بلکہ اللہ تعالیٰ سے گہرا تعلق تھا

'یوسف علیہ السلام کو گناہ سے بچانے والی چیز جسمانی طاقت یا چالاکی نہیں بلکہ اللہ سے ان کا گہرا تعلق تھا۔'
یہ بات ہمیں ایک نہایت اہم اور طاقتور سبق سکھاتی ہے:

It is true, very few stories can combine all the diametrically opposing themes this Surah contains, in the harmonizing way that it does.
Think about it, it contains within its storyline:
1. Enviers, and the envied
2. Freedom followed by slavery, followed by freedom again
3. A crime scene with witnesses (Seduction story)
4. An obsessed lover, and the one being pursued
5. A jail sentence, followed by freedom

When reading Surah Yusuf there were many things that caught my eye, it is hard not to be moved by it’s many lessons and it’s gripping emotions of loss, hope, love and mercy. These emotions remind us of our own struggles and challenges and through this story we see that no human is able to move through life without encountering these emotions.

Connection between Surah Hud and Surah Yusuf.
'WORSHIP' and 'TAWAKKUL'
It was so amazing while reciting Quran, I noticed that ALLAH ended the surah Hud with the ayah of tawakkul and worshipping Him and then in start of the next surah which is surah Yusuf, mentioned it as the 'ahsan ul qasas/best of the stories'.
Because in this surah ALLAH mentioned the utmost tawakkul, patience and endless hope in ALLAH of Hazrat Yaqoob a.s,
