In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Especially Merciful,

If we should praise Allah for the entirety of our lives this praise would not be enough, if the entire creation was to praise Allah it would not be enough.

Yet, the One who has Created us and everything, and to Him Whom belongs all such praise, praises you because you believe in Him and do what He has said and you choose to do what is good over what He dislikes and what He has forbidden then surely this ayah should make me wish to be amongst the One whom He praises, whom He loves. 

Truly He is Most Generous. May we yearn to be amongst this category of His Creation and may we strive to do so until our exit from this abode.
Wanting to be in this category should extinguish the worldly temporary desires and should make me yearn for the everlasting and true honour with the Lord of the worlds. 

May Allah make us all amongst this category Allahumma Ameen. 🤲

Small act of kindness have lasting impact
When I first joined Al-Huda Institute to learn the Quran, I had never fully completed my tajweed before. Although I had always excelled academically, achieving top grades and becoming a software engineer, I never found true peace in the Quran. My life had been marked by disappointment, the loss of friendships, and complex family relationships.

Living alone in a company-provided apartment became a turning point in my life—a gift from Allah that gave me the solitude I needed to reflect deeply. For the first time, I began questioning my purpose: Why am I here? What comes next? What do I truly want? Despite acquiring various worldly skills, I still felt restless. That’s when I decided to attend Quran classes.

At first, I was anxious, but I found sakeenah (tranquility) in that environment—the sound of the takbeer, the peaceful atmosphere, and the people around me. I vividly remember the first person I met, a girl named Sajida. She was so pure, and when she held my hand, it was as if her touch carried calmness. At the time, I didn’t fully understand the neuroscience of touch or how the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) would hold people’s hands with warmth and kindness, but now, years later, I can still feel the impact of her wudu-clad hands and her serene presence.

This experience reminds me of the Seerah incident when the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) comforted his companions and strangers alike with his gentle touch and compassion. One such example is when he held the hand of Mu’adh ibn Jabal (RA) and said:

'O Mu’adh, by Allah I love you, so do not forget to say at the end of every prayer: ‘O Allah, help me to remember You, to give thanks to You, and to worship You properly.’'

The way the Prophet (PBUH) held hands and spoke with such kindness left a lasting impression
 just as someone pure and gentle manner impacted me. It showed me the power of simple, sincere gestures in touching hearts and bringing people closer to Allah. My time at Al-Huda became a turning point, where the Quran and the influence of righteous companionship helped me find peace and purpose.

May Allah give us pious companions which remind us to remember Allah always

The gist of ‘Iman’ and ‘Aml e Salih’ is 
‘God-consciousness‘

It means remembering Allah SWT all the time. 
Whatever you are doing Allah is in your thoughts. 

Its like when you are in love with someone 
you are thinking about them all the time
Somehow you want to please them 
you are yearning to meet them 
Talk to them
Know them 
To be close to them
What they like
What they don’t like 
It’s a fire that encompass you
Your heart is full of emotions 
And you are ready to change 
to the likes of your beloved

Allah is above all of this
He is our beloved Rub

Our thoughts should be encircling Him
In a constant state of Tawaf 
In every conscious moment of our lives. 

Only then we can be successful 
Worthy of the everlasting bliss 
Of gardens and flowing waters

Thus the concluding remarks of Al-Bayyinah verse 8

جَزَاۤؤُهُمۡ عِندَ رَبِّهِمۡ جَنَّـٰتُ عَدۡنࣲ تَجۡرِی مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِینَ فِیهَاۤ أَبَدࣰاۖ رَّضِیَ ٱللَّهُ عَنۡهُمۡ وَرَضُوا۟ عَنۡهُۚ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ لِمَنۡ خَشِیَ رَبَّهُۥ﴿ ٨ ﴾

• Abdul Haleem:
Their reward with their Lord is everlasting Gardens graced with flowing streams, where they will stay forever. God is well pleased with them and they with Him. All this is for those who stand in awe of their Lord.

Al-Bayyinah, Ayah 8

May Allah make us among the people of true khashya (awe) of Allah SWT.

Ayahs 8-17
A Map Towards Victory

1. The Quran as the driving force to this Ummah's victory 
'...هي أقوم ...'

'Surely this Quran guides to what is most upright, and gives good news to the believers—who do good—that they will have a mighty reward..(9)'
'...but if you return ˹to sin˺, We will return ˹to punishment˺. And We have made Hell a ˹permanent˺ confinement for the disbelievers.' (8) 

'...وإن عدتم عدنا..'
Allah's Perfect Judgement over the disbelieving people and the evil that they incur upon the Believers will be compensated to the fullest according to His Perfect Justice. Allahu Akbar! This provide immense relief to all Believers and complete hope in Allah SWT despite these harrowing and extremely painful times. 


2. The Quran transports us to another realm just like how Rasulullah SAW was transported during Isra wal Mi'raj
When we see the charred and burnt bodies; when we hear the heart-wrenching cries of little Hind in her bullet-ridden car suddenly stops; we KNOW with certainty that they all have been transported to another Realm. A beautiful Place where there is no more fear and suffering. Just as we  believe how Rasulullah SAW was transported to a Realm beyond our imagination. This certainty gives us comfort and some semblance of peace to carry on living. It affirms in our hearts that these people have been given honour just like how Rasulullah SAW was honoured by the Night Journey.

3.Allah's SWT Court of Rewards & Punishment
'...أعتدنا لهم عذابا أليما ...'
'And ˹it warns˺ those who do not believe in the Hereafter ˹that˺ We have prepared for them a painful punishment. (10) '

The bodies of all the sons of the family of Abu Mahdi Walid in their shroud were laid in front of their father. None can imagine the loss; the grief and the hurt that knifes through this father's heart as he performs the solat janazah over them. Where does this strength come from if not from the certainty of the Just Punishment for the murderers. 

The reality of the family of Abu Mahdi Walid and Gazan the IOF killers area live dramatisation of  the clash between the 2 groups in Ayat 10 ; 

 أن الذين لا يؤمنون بالآخرة and  لمؤمنين الذين يعملون الصالحات  

The Zionist regime do not believe in the Day of Recompense and will never understand the Source of strength for the Gazans.
They are only motivated by materialism and the illusory promise of this transient world. Though they may seem mighty and strong; but in reality weak and fragile; and they are extremely fearful of the Gazan mujahideen. They lose their false bravery and facade of power once they are met with people whose conviction is based on the Unseen and whose stronghold is Allah SWT, the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth. 
Their empty souls will be in utter despair when they meet their Creator.

On the flip side the people of Gaza are motivated by Allah's SWT Promise can never be defeated by the Zionists whose doctrine is based only on the gains and riches of this world. Their resistance fighters fight in slippers without armour but what spurs them on is certainty.
They look forward to either victory in this world or Paradise. There is no true defeat for them only try Victory. Bi idzniLLAAH!

This Quranic Truth conveys a certainty that the ultimate ending  is only between 2 Realities and is often repeated in other Surahs like 
Surah az Zumar and Surah al Bayyinah.

4.The Bitter End of the Terrorist State of Israel
Our screens are filled with scenes of pro Palestine  marches and resistance against Zionist Israel. The global population is standing together and standing up in solidarity for Palestine. Decades of false narratives are being debunked as we see the end of the Zionist Israel drawing near. We are told of how the arrogant Israelites were destroyed by the mighty Nebuchanezzar.  We hold this Promise and we anticipate the demise of the immoral Zionists and complete victory for the Ummah.

The emergence of political and economic in the West like President Trump and Elon Musk is the testament to the Truth of Ayat 16: 

'Whenever We intend to destroy a society, We command its elite ˹to obey Allah˺ but they act rebelliously in it. So the decree ˹of punishment˺ is justified, and We destroy it utterly. (16)'

This is an immensely uplifting Message for all Believers regardless if we are the ones targeted for hateful crimes or we are the ones who painfully watch our brothers being subjected to these crimes.  We also understand that our end is also between 2 Realities. These perpetrators of the genocide in Gaza may escape the ICJ rulings on this earth but they can never escape Allah's SWT Perfect Justice. Their ultimate destruction is caused by their own corruption; deeds done by their won hands; if only they knew.

 'And sufficient is your Lord as All-Aware and All-Seeing of the sins of His servants. (17)'

5.Beware of making Du'a against your own self
...'وكان الإنسان عجولا...'
 'And humans ˹swiftly˺ pray for evil as they pray for good. For humankind is ever hasty.(11)'

'Alhamdulillah! ' HasbunAllah!' ' Laa hawla wa laa quwwata ilaa billah'
These are the words we hear from the people of Gaza amidst the rubbles of their lives and amongst their dead. 
On the other hand, we need to ask ourselves if we are hastily saying words that are actually inviting Allah's SWT Displeasure. When we easily complain about everything; do we realise that we may be unknowingly criticising  Allah's SWT Plans and Decrees.

The people of Gaza are showing us  how Rasulullah SAW and his Companions RA lived through the difficult years in Makkah. They are uttering the exact same divine expressions that were first uttered by Rasulullah SAW and his Companions RA.

'....We made the day and night as two signs....' (12)
The alternation of Night and Day is the manifestation of Allah's SWT Decree ; through this,  Allah SWT is telling us that victory will come after hardships. Therein lies the vision of the mission that Allah SWT has Decreed upon the Ummah. To some extent, the people of Gaza exemplifies the life of Rasulullah SAW and his Companions RA. This is a deep lesson that this Ummah has to internalise. The early Muslims achieved victory; so will the people of Gaza and by extension so will the Ummah. However, victory has to be earned. 

 والحساب  ولتعلموا عدد السنين
'..seek the bounty of your Lord and know the number of years and calculation ˹of time˺.....'(12)

Inherent in this ayat, lies the 'formula' for victory. Count each moment; make each moment matter. Keep up with your daily prescribed worship and strive for the additional good deeds. Perform your professional work life with full responsibility and integrity. When each and every Muslim 'stand tall'  أقوم , the pulse of the Ummah will beat strong and healthy against any diseases and viruses.

May this few lessons be of benefit to us as a member of this Ummah;
May the people of Gaza  be a source of inspiration for the Ummah

Ya Allah uplift us, honour us with life guided by the Quran
Ya Allah, give us victory over the disbelieving people,
