E de quando dissestes: Ó Moisés, não creremos em ti até que vejamos Deus claramente! E a centelha vos fulminou, enquanto olháveis.

{ وَإِذْ قُلْتُمْ يَا مُوسَى لَنْ نُؤْمِنَ لَكَ حَتَّى نَرَى اللَّهَ جَهْرَةً } وهذا غاية الظلم والجراءة على الله وعلى رسوله، { فَأَخَذَتْكُمُ الصَّاعِقَةُ } إما الموت أو الغشية العظيمة، { وَأَنْتُمْ تَنْظُرُونَ } وقوع ذلك, كل ينظر إلى صاحبه.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
