بسم اللّٰہ الرحمان الرحیم

•••And He is capable of all things
وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ .••••

SubhanAllah!
Everything is connected.
You, at this very moment, reading this, are meant to be here, and I, at this very moment, writing this reflection, am meant to be here—not just arbitrarily, but very purposefully.


This morning, I was listening to a short Qiyam night lecture by Omar Suleiman, where a shaykh used the phrase اللّٰہ المستعان (Allah is the One whose help is sought).

This phrase stayed with me—on my mind, on my tongue. It remained.

Just an hour ago, I checked on a community sister on WhatsApp, and as I was texting, I instinctively wrote واللہ المستعان at the end of the message. She replied in complete awe of Allah ﷻ because, last year, someone had taught her this tasbih, but she had forgotten it. Yet, Allah ﷻ placed it in my heart and mind at that very moment so that I could send it to her—reminding her of His compassion and mercy. SubhanAllah!

As if that wasn’t enough, when I sat down to recite my daily portion of the Quran and decided to close my Mushaf for the night, the very last verse I recited contained the word مستعان! SubhanAllah.

This all led me to reflect today that:
	•	Allah Almighty has it all planned.
	•	He is in charge of our affairs.
	•	He is the Controller.
	•	He is Musabbib al-Asbab (the One who creates the means).

And never, ever limit Allah ﷻ and His power. He can literally change the laws of the universe for the sole reason of comforting His servant.

I have no words—SubhanAllah!

May He always allow us to be in awe of Him ﷻ and make us among the people of the Quran—those who reflect upon it and live their lives by it. Ameen.

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته، أسأل الله أن تكونوا بخير وعافية.

أود أن أشارك معكم فكرة كنت أتأملها منذ فترة.

كان يلفت انتباهي كثيرًا وصف سيدنا إبراهيم عليه السلام بأنه «أمة». وكان فهمي لهذا الوصف محدودًا، حتى انتبهت إلى معنى مهم في قصته.

إن سيدنا إبراهيم عليه السلام واجه أباه – الذي قيل إنه عمه – وقومه وحده، وواجه النمرود وحده أيضًا، إن لم أكن مخطئًا. لقد واجههم وحده، ولم يكن معه إلا ربُّه.

لم يقل: ماذا سأفعل وحدي وسط هذا العدد من الكافرين أو المفسدين، أيًّا كان الوصف؟ ولم يخف من كثرة من يلتفون حول الباطل، بل كان شجاعًا في نصرة الحق.

وقد قرأت سابقًا في كتاب في ظلال القرآن معنى جميلًا، وهو أن الله ينصر الفئة المؤمنة عندما تبلغ مرحلة تنصر فيها الحق دون أن يكون في قلوبها ذرة خوف. هذا المعنى ذكره بأسلوب بديع ما شاء الله.

ومن الأمور الجميلة أيضًا في قصة سيدنا إبراهيم مع قومه أننا نرى فيها أثر اسم الله الشكور.
فالشكور هو الذي يجازي على القليل من العمل بالثواب الكثير.

ومن شكر الله لإبراهيم عليه السلام أنه جعل في ذريته النبوة، فوهبه إسحاق ويعقوب وجعلهما من الأنبياء.
