26:160
كذبت قوم لوط المرسلين ١٦٠
كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ لُوطٍ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ ١٦٠
كَذَّبَتۡ
قَوۡمُ
لُوطٍ
ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ
١٦٠
The people of Lot rejected the messengers

اذ قال لهم اخوهم لوط الا تتقون ١٦١
إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ لُوطٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ ١٦١
إِذۡ

لَهُمۡ
أَخُوهُمۡ
لُوطٌ
أَلَا
تَتَّقُونَ
١٦١
when their brother Lot said to them, “Will you not fear ˹Allah˺?

إِنِّى لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌۭ ١٦٢
إِنِّي
لَكُمۡ
رَسُولٌ
أَمِينٞ

I am truly a trustworthy messenger to you.

فاتقوا الله واطيعون ١٦٣
فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ ١٦٣
فَٱتَّقُواْ
ٱللَّهَ
وَأَطِيعُونِ
١٦٣
So fear Allah, and obey me.

وما اسالكم عليه من اجر ان اجري الا على رب العالمين ١٦٤
وَمَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِىَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ ١٦٤
وَمَآ
أَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡ
عَلَيۡهِ
مِنۡ
أَجۡرٍۖ
إِنۡ
أَجۡرِيَ
إِلَّا
عَلَىٰ
رَبِّ
ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
١٦٤
I do not ask you for any reward for this ˹message˺. My reward is only from the Lord of all worlds.

اتاتون الذكران من العالمين ١٦٥
أَتَأْتُونَ ٱلذُّكْرَانَ مِنَ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ ١٦٥
أَتَأۡتُونَ
ٱلذُّكۡرَانَ
مِنَ
ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
١٦٥
Why do you ˹men˺ lust after fellow men,

وتذرون ما خلق لكم ربكم من ازواجكم بل انتم قوم عادون ١٦٦
وَتَذَرُونَ مَا خَلَقَ لَكُمْ رَبُّكُم مِّنْ أَزْوَٰجِكُم ۚ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ عَادُونَ ١٦٦
وَتَذَرُونَ
مَا
خَلَقَ
لَكُمۡ
رَبُّكُم
مِّنۡ
أَزۡوَٰجِكُمۚ
بَلۡ
أَنتُمۡ
قَوۡمٌ
عَادُونَ
١٦٦
leaving the wives that your Lord has created for you? In fact, you are a transgressing people.”

قالوا لين لم تنته يا لوط لتكونن من المخرجين ١٦٧
قَالُوا۟ لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهِ يَـٰلُوطُ لَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْمُخْرَجِينَ ١٦٧
قَالُواْ
لَئِن
لَّمۡ
تَنتَهِ
يَٰلُوطُ
لَتَكُونَنَّ
مِنَ
ٱلۡمُخۡرَجِينَ
١٦٧
They threatened, “If you do not desist, O Lot, you will surely be expelled.”

قال اني لعملكم من القالين ١٦٨
قَالَ إِنِّى لِعَمَلِكُم مِّنَ ٱلْقَالِينَ ١٦٨
قَالَ
إِنِّي
لِعَمَلِكُم
مِّنَ
ٱلۡقَالِينَ
١٦٨
Lot responded, “I am truly one of those who despise your ˹shameful˺ practice.

رب نجني واهلي مما يعملون ١٦٩
رَبِّ نَجِّنِى وَأَهْلِى مِمَّا يَعْمَلُونَ ١٦٩
رَبِّ
نَجِّنِي
وَأَهۡلِي
مِمَّا
يَعۡمَلُونَ
١٦٩
My Lord! Save me and my family from ˹the consequences of˺ what they do.”

فنجيناه واهله اجمعين ١٧٠
فَنَجَّيْنَـٰهُ وَأَهْلَهُۥٓ أَجْمَعِينَ ١٧٠
فَنَجَّيۡنَٰهُ
وَأَهۡلَهُۥٓ
أَجۡمَعِينَ
١٧٠
So We saved him and all of his family,

الا عجوزا في الغابرين ١٧١
إِلَّا عَجُوزًۭا فِى ٱلْغَـٰبِرِينَ ١٧١
إِلَّا
عَجُوزٗا
فِي
ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَ
١٧١
except an old woman,
1
who was one of the doomed.

ثم دمرنا الاخرين ١٧٢
ثُمَّ دَمَّرْنَا ٱلْـَٔاخَرِينَ ١٧٢
ثُمَّ
دَمَّرۡنَا
ٱلۡأٓخَرِينَ
١٧٢
Then We utterly destroyed the rest,

وامطرنا عليهم مطرا فساء مطر المنذرين ١٧٣
وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِم مَّطَرًۭا ۖ فَسَآءَ مَطَرُ ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ ١٧٣
وَأَمۡطَرۡنَا
عَلَيۡهِم
مَّطَرٗاۖ
فَسَآءَ
مَطَرُ
ٱلۡمُنذَرِينَ
١٧٣
pouring upon them a rain ˹of brimstone˺. How evil was the rain of those who had been warned!

ان في ذالك لاية وما كان اكثرهم مومنين ١٧٤
إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةًۭ ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ ١٧٤
إِنَّ
فِي
ذَٰلِكَ
لَأٓيَةٗۖ
وَمَا
كَانَ
أَكۡثَرُهُم
مُّؤۡمِنِينَ
١٧٤
Surely in this is a sign. Yet most of them would not believe.

وان ربك لهو العزيز الرحيم ١٧٥
وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ١٧٥
وَإِنَّ
رَبَّكَ
لَهُوَ
ٱلۡعَزِيزُ
ٱلرَّحِيمُ
١٧٥
And your Lord is certainly the Almighty, Most Merciful.

كَذَّبَ أَصْحَـٰبُ لْـَٔيْكَةِ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ ١٧٦

لۡـَٔيۡكَةِ
ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ
١٧٦
The residents of the Forest rejected the messengers

اذ قال لهم شعيب الا تتقون ١٧٧
إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ شُعَيْبٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ ١٧٧
إِذۡ
قَالَ

شُعَيۡبٌ
أَلَا
تَتَّقُونَ
١٧٧
when Shu’aib said to them,
1
“Will you not fear ˹Allah˺?

۞ اوفوا الكيل ولا تكونوا من المخسرين ١٨١
۞ أَوْفُوا۟ ٱلْكَيْلَ وَلَا تَكُونُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلْمُخْسِرِينَ ١٨١
۞ أَوۡفُواْ
ٱلۡكَيۡلَ
وَلَا
تَكُونُواْ
مِنَ
ٱلۡمُخۡسِرِينَ
١٨١
Give full measure, and cause no loss ˹to others˺.

وزنوا بالقسطاس المستقيم ١٨٢
وَزِنُوا۟ بِٱلْقِسْطَاسِ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمِ ١٨٢
وَزِنُواْ
بِٱلۡقِسۡطَاسِ
ٱلۡمُسۡتَقِيمِ
١٨٢
Weigh with an even balance,

ولا تبخسوا الناس اشياءهم ولا تعثوا في الارض مفسدين ١٨٣
وَلَا تَبْخَسُوا۟ ٱلنَّاسَ أَشْيَآءَهُمْ وَلَا تَعْثَوْا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مُفْسِدِينَ ١٨٣
وَلَا
تَبۡخَسُواْ
ٱلنَّاسَ
أَشۡيَآءَهُمۡ
وَلَا
تَعۡثَوۡاْ
فِي
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
مُفۡسِدِينَ
١٨٣
and do not defraud people of their property. Nor go about spreading corruption in the land.
