Al-Ma'idah 5:66 ولو انهم اقاموا التوراة والانجيل وما انزل اليهم من ربهم لاكلوا من فوقهم ومن تحت ارجلهم منهم امة مقتصدة وكثير منهم ساء ما يعملون ٦٦
وَلَوۡ
أَنَّهُمۡ
أَقَامُواْ
ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةَ
وَٱلۡإِنجِيلَ
وَمَآ
أُنزِلَ
إِلَيۡهِم
مِّن
رَّبِّهِمۡ
لَأَكَلُواْ
مِن
فَوۡقِهِمۡ
وَمِن
تَحۡتِ
أَرۡجُلِهِمۚ
مِّنۡهُمۡ
أُمَّةٞ
مُّقۡتَصِدَةٞۖ
وَكَثِيرٞ
مِّنۡهُمۡ
سَآءَ
مَا
يَعۡمَلُونَ
٦٦
En als zij maar volgens de Thora en de Indjiel (Bijbel) gehandeld hadden, en aan wat (nu) van hun Heer is neergezonden, dan zouden zij zeker van wat boven hen is en van wat onder hun voeten (aan voedsel) is, hebben gekregen. Onder hen is een gematigde gemeenschap, maar velen van hen verrichten kwade daden.
