En Hij is Allah, er is geen god dan Hij. Aan Hem behoort alle lof, op deze wereld en in het Hiernamaals, en aan Hem behoort het oordeel en tot Hem zullen jullie teruggekeerd worden.

وهو الله لا إله إلا هو له الحمد في الأولى والآخرة وله الحكم وإليه ترجعون تقدم معناه ، وأنه المنفرد بالوحدانية ، لأن جميع المحامد ، إنما تجب له وأن لا حكم إلا له وإليه المصير .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
