ذالك هدى الله يهدي به من يشاء من عباده ولو اشركوا لحبط عنهم ما كانوا يعملون ٨٨
ذَٰلِكَ هُدَى ٱللَّهِ يَهْدِى بِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦ ۚ وَلَوْ أَشْرَكُوا۟ لَحَبِطَ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ ٨٨
ذَٰلِكَ
هُدَى
ٱللَّهِ
يَهۡدِي
بِهِۦ
مَن
يَشَآءُ
مِنۡ
عِبَادِهِۦۚ
وَلَوۡ
أَشۡرَكُواْ
لَحَبِطَ
عَنۡهُم
مَّا
كَانُواْ
يَعۡمَلُونَ
٨٨
Yang demikian itu ialah petunjuk Allah, yang dengannya Ia memimpin sesiapa yang dihendakiNya dari hamba-hambaNya; dan kalau mereka sekutukan (Allah dengan sesuatu yang lain) nescaya gugurlah dari mereka, apa yang mereka telah lakukan (dari amal-amal yang baik).

(ولو أشركوا) على الفرض والتقدير (لحبط عنهم ما كانوا يعملون)؛ فإن الشرك محبط للعمل، موجب للخلود في النار، فإذا كان هؤلاء الصفوة الأخيار لو أشركوا -وحاشاهم- لحبطت أعمالهم، فغيرهم أولى. السعدي:264.
السؤال: الشرك محبط للعمل ولو وقع من كبار العباد والصالحين، وضح ذلك من الآية.
أي: لو عبدوا غيري لحبطت أعمالهم، ولكني عصمتهم. القرطبي:8/451.
