فقد كذبوا بالحق لما جاءهم فسوف ياتيهم انباء ما كانوا به يستهزيون ٥
فَقَدْ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِٱلْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَآءَهُمْ ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَأْتِيهِمْ أَنۢبَـٰٓؤُا۟ مَا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ ٥
فَقَدۡ
كَذَّبُواْ
بِٱلۡحَقِّ
لَمَّا
جَآءَهُمۡ
فَسَوۡفَ
يَأۡتِيهِمۡ
أَنۢبَٰٓؤُاْ
مَا
كَانُواْ
بِهِۦ
يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ
٥
Sesungguhnya mereka telah mendustakan kebenaran (Al-Quran) ketika ia sampai kepada mereka. Oleh itu, akan datanglah kepada mereka berita (yang membuktikan kebenaran) apa yang mereka selalu ejek-ejek itu (iaitu mereka akan ditimpa bala bencana).

Al-Qābiḍ and Al-Bāsiṭ are two names that must come together. Qabd refers to constriction or restraining. Thus, God withholds when it is good and He gives when it is good. The person who is in a state of constriction can look forward to the expansion and the lightness. And the feeling of qabd is sometimes due to our own priorities.
