۞ انما يستجيب الذين يسمعون والموتى يبعثهم الله ثم اليه يرجعون ٣٦
۞ إِنَّمَا يَسْتَجِيبُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَسْمَعُونَ ۘ وَٱلْمَوْتَىٰ يَبْعَثُهُمُ ٱللَّهُ ثُمَّ إِلَيْهِ يُرْجَعُونَ ٣٦
۞ إِنَّمَا
يَسۡتَجِيبُ
ٱلَّذِينَ
يَسۡمَعُونَۘ
وَٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰ
يَبۡعَثُهُمُ
ٱللَّهُ
ثُمَّ
إِلَيۡهِ
يُرۡجَعُونَ
٣٦
Hanyasanya orang-orang yang menyahut seruanmu itu ialah mereka yang mendengar (yang mahu menurut kebenaran); sedang orang-orang yang mati Allah bangkitkan mereka semula (pada hari kiamat kelak), kemudian mereka dikembalikan kepadaNya untuk menerima balasan.

More and more I am noticing most of us
don't actually listen. And if we do listen,
it's only to respond.
Allah explains here (6:36) that change only comes
to those who truly listen.
In surat Al-Mulk 67:10 the disbelievers will
say: If only we had listened and reasoned,
we would not be among the residents of the fire!
My teacher once said listen to everyone as if
they are your teacher.
Remember it's not about who is saying what but
