قال بل القوا فاذا حبالهم وعصيهم يخيل اليه من سحرهم انها تسعى ٦٦
قَالَ بَلْ أَلْقُوا۟ ۖ فَإِذَا حِبَالُهُمْ وَعِصِيُّهُمْ يُخَيَّلُ إِلَيْهِ مِن سِحْرِهِمْ أَنَّهَا تَسْعَىٰ ٦٦
قَالَ
بَلۡ
أَلۡقُواْۖ
فَإِذَا
حِبَالُهُمۡ
وَعِصِيُّهُمۡ
يُخَيَّلُ
إِلَيۡهِ
مِن
سِحۡرِهِمۡ
أَنَّهَا
تَسۡعَىٰ

Nabi Musa menjawab: "Bahkan kamulah campak dahulu". Tiba-tiba tali-tali mereka dan tongkat-tongkat mereka terbayang-bayang kepadanya seolah-olah benda-benda berjalan, disebabkan sihir mereka.

'This Surah held up a mirror I wasn’t ready for.'
There’s something uncomfortable about Surah Taha.
Not because it’s hard to understand
But because it’s hard to face.
I used to read the story of Musa (AS) like a bedtime tale. Familiar, safe.
He stood before Pharaoh. He parted the sea. He made history.
But I never noticed how human he was.
He was afraid.
He hesitated.
