قالوا ان هاذان لساحران يريدان ان يخرجاكم من ارضكم بسحرهما ويذهبا بطريقتكم المثلى ٦٣
قَالُوٓا۟ إِنْ هَـٰذَٰنِ لَسَـٰحِرَٰنِ يُرِيدَانِ أَن يُخْرِجَاكُم مِّنْ أَرْضِكُم بِسِحْرِهِمَا وَيَذْهَبَا بِطَرِيقَتِكُمُ ٱلْمُثْلَىٰ ٦٣
قَالُوٓاْ
إِنۡ
هَٰذَٰنِ
لَسَٰحِرَٰنِ
يُرِيدَانِ
أَن
يُخۡرِجَاكُم
مِّنۡ
أَرۡضِكُم
بِسِحۡرِهِمَا
وَيَذۡهَبَا
بِطَرِيقَتِكُمُ
ٱلۡمُثۡلَىٰ
٦٣
Mereka berkata: "Dua orang ini, sebenarnya dua ahli sihir yang bertujuan hendak mengeluarkan kamu dari negeri kamu dengan sihir mereka, dan hendak melenyapkan kepercayaan serta adat peraturan kamu yang utama.

This made me ponder upon whether the cherished traditions or the ways we are used to being comfortable are stopping us from accepting and obeying His command given the discomfort we may feel to submit to it completely, and the true ones are distinguished by the effort they make to achieve it because they can only do it for His sake regardless of their comfort zone.

'This Surah held up a mirror I wasn’t ready for.'
There’s something uncomfortable about Surah Taha.
Not because it’s hard to understand
But because it’s hard to face.
I used to read the story of Musa (AS) like a bedtime tale. Familiar, safe.
He stood before Pharaoh. He parted the sea. He made history.
But I never noticed how human he was.
He was afraid.
He hesitated.
