Saya mendapat satu nasihat ringkas baru-baru ini, tetapi sangat mendalam (diparafrasakan):
'Jika anda merasa tidak patut untuk mengucapkan 'Bismillah' sebelum melakukan sesuatu - berhenti, jangan lakukan!'
Jika anda hendak melakukan sesuatu, katakan sesuatu, dengar sesuatu, makan sesuatu, baca sesuatu, tulis sesuatu, siarkan sesuatu - dan rasanya tidak sesuai untuk menyebut 'Bismillah' sebelum memulakan, itu isyarat yang bagus untuk kita berhen...Lihat lebih dari yang ini

Memulai setiap perbuatan yang baik dengan menyebut nama Allah (basmalah) dan selalu mengingat bahwa Allah Maha Pengasih dan Maha Penyayang.
English Translation:
Starting every good deed by mentioning the name of Allah (basmalah) and always remembering that Allah is Most Gracious and Most Merciful.
Memulai setiap perbuatan yang baik dengan menyebut nama Allah (basmalah) dan selalu mengingat bahwa Allah Maha Pengasih dan Maha Penyayang.
English Translation:
Starting every good deed by mentioning the name of Allah (basmalah) and always remembering that Allah is Most Gracious and Most Merciful.

I came across a piece of advice recently that was quite simple, yet so very profound (paraphrased):
'If you don't feel right saying 'Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem' before doing something - don't do it!'
If you are about do something, say something, listen to something, eat something, read something, write something, post something - and it just doesn't feel right to say 'Bismillah' before beginning, that's a great signal for us to stop, reflect,...Lihat lebih dari yang ini

Deen is focused on Connection, which goes into relationship - Building connection/relationship with Allah -ourselves- people- society - world etc.

I wanted to begin this group, with the name of Allah.
As Allah began the Quran in His name.
It's amazing how , no matter how much we learn about the names of Allah there's always a sense of vagueness to them.
For example we hear in a lot of lectures why Allah chose الرحمان and الرحيم .
And the different implications that each of them have. One example can be like the former is mercy for everyone and the latter is more for the believers.

B~ BismiAllah isn’t a complete sentence : suppose I say 'over there' you will eventually ask where or what ?
Just like that BismiAllah is half of the sentence and there must be an action after that ~ other wise it’s incomplete !
BismIAllah ~ playing soccer = me playing soccer for sake of Allah = playing becomes an act of Ibadah =
BismiAllah ~ before I eat = me eating for sake of Allah = eating becomes an Ibadah

What made Orientalists attest to the preservation of the Quran in it's written form was the fact that they saw consistency across the various manuscripts which date back to the mid 7th century when Uthman RA ordered for the masahif (written copies of the Quran) to be unified. These consistencies exist even in cases where the uninitiated might assume that human intervention would be warranted. For example, in the writing of:
