وَأَعۡتَزِلُكُمۡ
وَمَا
تَدۡعُونَ
مِن
دُونِ
ٱللَّهِ
وَأَدۡعُواْ
رَبِّي
عَسَىٰٓ
أَلَّآ
أَكُونَ
بِدُعَآءِ
رَبِّي
شَقِيّٗا
٤٨
Ako mupalayo gikan kanimo ug sa unsay (mga dios-dios nga) inyong gitawag gawas sa Allah, ug ako motawag ngadto sa akong Ginoo 'Allāh', nagalaum nga ang pagtawag sa akong Ginoo dili magpabilin nga walay katubagan.

The Reply of Ibrahim's Father
Allah, the Exalted, informs of the reply of Ibrahim's father to his son, Ibrahim, in reference to what he was calling him to. He said,
أَرَاغِبٌ أَنتَ عَنْ آلِهَتِى يإِبْرَهِيمُ
