وَإِذَا
غَشِيَهُم
مَّوۡجٞ
كَٱلظُّلَلِ
دَعَوُاْ
ٱللَّهَ
مُخۡلِصِينَ
لَهُ
ٱلدِّينَ
فَلَمَّا
نَجَّىٰهُمۡ
إِلَى
ٱلۡبَرِّ
فَمِنۡهُم
مُّقۡتَصِدٞۚ
وَمَا
يَجۡحَدُ
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ
إِلَّا
كُلُّ
خَتَّارٖ
كَفُورٖ

Kaadu baddi haffo qubul kee qaleeláh iraawoh innah ken buulta waqdi Yalla kallacan dooqá kaah caglisak, tokkel ken naggossu heeh badak barri fan ken yayyaaqe waqdi, tokkel iimaan kee koroosannuk fanah yan numuy Yalla elle faxximta innal faatitewaa keenit yanih, kaadu Yallih niqmat yangadde korosti keenit yanih. Ni- astooti tangaddem matan ummaan ganoliy korostah yani akke waytek.

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
Allah tells us that He is the One Who has subjugated the sea so that ships may sail on it by His command, i.e., by His grace and power
For if He did not give the water the strength to carry the ships, they would not sail. So He says:
لِيُرِيَكُمْ مِّنْ ءَايَتِهِ
