وَإِذَا
غَشِيَهُم
مَّوۡجٞ
كَٱلظُّلَلِ
دَعَوُاْ
ٱللَّهَ
مُخۡلِصِينَ
لَهُ
ٱلدِّينَ
فَلَمَّا
نَجَّىٰهُمۡ
إِلَى
ٱلۡبَرِّ
فَمِنۡهُم
مُّقۡتَصِدٞۚ
وَمَا
يَجۡحَدُ
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ
إِلَّا
كُلُّ
خَتَّارٖ
كَفُورٖ
٣٢
Şi dacă‑i învăluie pe ei valurile, asemenea umbrelor1, atunci Îl cheamă ei numai pe Allah, cu credinţă faţă de religia Lui, iar după ce‑i izbăveşte pe ei, [aducându‑i] pe uscat, atunci unii dintre ei sunt şovăitori şi nimeni nu tăgăduieşte semnele Noastre, afară numai de cel viclean şi de cel nemulţumitor.

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
Allah tells us that He is the One Who has subjugated the sea so that ships may sail on it by His command, i.e., by His grace and power
For if He did not give the water the strength to carry the ships, they would not sail. So He says:
