Whoever lowers his gaze for the sake of Allah, He will give him a sweetness of faith that he finds in his heart.” (Musnad Ahmad 4/358)This “sweetness” is no small gift. It is tranquility, focus in prayer, purity of thought, and peace of conscience. When the eyes stop wandering, the heart stops trembling.
