Al-'Ankabut 29:46 ۞ ولا تجادلوا اهل الكتاب الا بالتي هي احسن الا الذين ظلموا منهم وقولوا امنا بالذي انزل الينا وانزل اليكم والاهنا والاهكم واحد ونحن له مسلمون ٤٦
۞ وَلَا
تُجَٰدِلُوٓاْ
أَهۡلَ
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
إِلَّا
بِٱلَّتِي
هِيَ
أَحۡسَنُ
إِلَّا
ٱلَّذِينَ
ظَلَمُواْ
مِنۡهُمۡۖ
وَقُولُوٓاْ
ءَامَنَّا
بِٱلَّذِيٓ
أُنزِلَ
إِلَيۡنَا
وَأُنزِلَ
إِلَيۡكُمۡ
وَإِلَٰهُنَا
وَإِلَٰهُكُمۡ
وَٰحِدٞ
وَنَحۡنُ
لَهُۥ
مُسۡلِمُونَ
٤٦
Non dialogate se non nella maniera migliore con la gente della Scrittura, eccetto quelli di loro che sono ingiusti. Dite [loro]: «Crediamo in quello che è stato fatto scendere su di noi e in quello che è stato fatto scendere su di voi, il nostro Dio e il vostro sono lo stesso Dio ed è a Lui che ci sottomettiamo» 1.

Arguing with the People of the Book
What is meant here is that anyone who wants to find out about religion from them should argue with them in a manner that is better, as this will be more effective. Allah says:
