At-Tawbah 9:11 فان تابوا واقاموا الصلاة واتوا الزكاة فاخوانكم في الدين ونفصل الايات لقوم يعلمون ١١
فَإِن
تَابُواْ
وَأَقَامُواْ
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
وَءَاتَوُاْ
ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ
فَإِخۡوَٰنُكُمۡ
فِي
ٱلدِّينِۗ
وَنُفَصِّلُ
ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ
لِقَوۡمٖ
يَعۡلَمُونَ
١١
Se poi si pentono, eseguono l’orazione e pagano la decima, siano vostri fratelli nella religione. Così esponiamo chiaramente i Nostri segni per gente che comprende.

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
اشْتَرَوْاْ بِـَايَـتِ اللَّهِ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلاً
(They have purchased with the Ayat of Allah a little gain,) idolators exchanged following the Ayat of Allah with the lower affairs of life that they indulged in,
فَصَدُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِهِ
(and they hindered men from His way), trying to prevent the believe
