Al-Jinn 72:17 لنفتنهم فيه ومن يعرض عن ذكر ربه يسلكه عذابا صعدا ١٧

لِّنَفۡتِنَهُمۡ
فِيهِۚ
وَمَن
يُعۡرِضۡ
عَن
ذِكۡرِ
رَبِّهِۦ
يَسۡلُكۡهُ
عَذَابٗا
صَعَدٗا
١٧
per metterli colà alla prova 1 . Allah condurrà ad un castigo incessantemente più severo chi avrà trascurato il monito del suo Signore.

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
The Jinns testify that among Them there are Believers, Disbelievers, Misguided and Guided
Allah says that the Jinns said about themselves,
وَأَنَّا مِنَّا الصَّـلِحُونَ وَمِنَّا دُونَ ذَلِكَ
(There are among us some that are righteous, and some the contrary;) meaning, other than that.
كُنَّا طَرَآئِقَ ق
