Al-Qasas 28:55 واذا سمعوا اللغو اعرضوا عنه وقالوا لنا اعمالنا ولكم اعمالكم سلام عليكم لا نبتغي الجاهلين ٥٥
وَاِذَا
سَمِعُوا
اللَّغْوَ
اَعْرَضُوْا
عَنْهُ
وَقَالُوْا
لَنَاۤ
اَعْمَالُنَا
وَلَكُمْ
اَعْمَالُكُمْ ؗ
سَلٰمٌ
عَلَیْكُمْ ؗ
لَا
نَبْتَغِی
الْجٰهِلِیْنَ
۟
Dan apabila mereka mendengar perkataan yang buruk, mereka berpaling darinya dan berkata, "Bagi kami amal-amal kami dan bagimu amal-amal kamu, semoga selamatlah kamu, kami tidak ingin (bergaul) dengan orang-orang bodoh."

The Believers among the People of the Book
Allah tells us that the pious scholars among the People of the Book believe in the Qur'an, as He says:
الَّذِينَ آتَيْنَـهُمُ الْكِتَـبَ يَتْلُونَهُ حَقَّ تِلاَوَتِهِ أُوْلَـئِكَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ
(Those to whom We gave the Book recite it as it should be recite
